AMI is Where Innovation Meets Excellence

AMI gets down to business - the meat, poultry and seafood business. Like no other event in 2009, more than 800 state-of-the-art exhibits showcased the latest innovations in processing and packaging equipment, business and processing software systems, supplies, services and formulations.

Attendees tested equipment and met with educated, accessible sales reps to get their questions answered. All of the major manufacturers participated, as well smaller companies whose products you typically don't have the opportunity to see face-to-face. At AMI, you could compare products side-by-side to ensure you place the right order - and get the best value - to move your business forward.

Here are a few of the highlights from the 2009 AMI International Meat, Poultry & Seafood Industry Convention and Exposition:
  • More than 75 hours of education, with targeted programming for engineers, plant managers, CEOs and quality assurance/control managers.
  • Three plant operation conferences gave managers real solutions to critical challenges - food safety, animal welfare, sustainability, product development and consumer trends.
  • The Meat Industry Research Conference was co-located at the Worldwide Food Expo. Offered Tuesday, October 27 and Wednesday, October 28, MIRC focused on research and science that impacted your business.
  • The Listeria Intervention and Control Short Course was held FREE for all registered attendees.
  • USDA Regulatory Update - new regulatory actions implemented in 2009 were reviewed.
And that is just a sampling! AMI is renowned for offering tangible benefits for every member of your team. We know the production in a plant isn't just one person's responsibility, and AMI makes these events affordable so you can bring all of your experts to work as a team on-site at the show.

Innovations happen every day. To stay competitive, you have to keep abreast with what is new in the field. The ideas are fresh, there is new technology being debuted around every corner, and it's a one-of-a-kind destination to interact with your peers.  See you in 2011!
